LFC RUMOUR MILL: Brazil star to Anfield, Agger on way, Michael Owen latest?

Keirrison has insisted his future has yet to be decided after his club claimed that he will remain in Brazil next season - with Liverpool said to be interested according to Setanta Sports.

Valencia are thought to have made a serious attempt to sign the 20-year-old, but Liverpool, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow are all also believed to have shown interest.

However, the deal is far from straightforward. The striker's contract at Coritiba is set to expire in April, but he has reportedly agreed a deal with management company Traffic, which has a partnership with Brazilian side Palmeiras.

There is some confusion over the nature of the deal, with Palmeiras claiming earlier this month they will take ownership of the player in April if he leaves Coritiba.

Yet Coritiba claimed this week that he would be remain where he is.

A club spokesman said: "Coritiba will not release Keirrison in January. We know that the player has received offers from a great club, but we are counting on him for next season."

RUMOUR RATING: One star Over complicated deal may be off putting.
