LFC RUMOUR MILL: Owen linked to Anfield, Johnson to come North? Pennant on his way to Spain?

MICHAEL OWEN is determined to move back to Liverpool, so says the Daily Telegraph.

Manchester City are ready with a £6 million bid. Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal are all in need of added firepower.

But, says the Daily Telegraph, the one man Owen would dearly love to entice will likely greet any evidence of his undimmed predatory instincts with fury – Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.

Benitez watched the Newcastle v Liverpool match from the St James' Park stands, masterminding a 5-1 victory during which Owen was substituted for Newcastle.
