Prowse added: “The feedback from the relatives was incredible .
“People there knew the song about Hillsborough, and there’s no backing music for some of the lines about the tragedy – it’s a cappella, so they were not easy to sing in front of the families of those that died.
“The song seems to have taken on a life of its own because Christy Moore even performed it on Ireland’s Late Late Show this week and gave a nice dedication.
“He’s bigger than U2 there, so it was good that so many people will hear the message.”
