Negredo targetted
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has reportedly offered £6 million for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo.
Despite official denials from the club, it is said that Madrid sold hitman Negredo to Almeira in 2007 but exercised a £4m option to re-buy him – even though he is likely to be sold this summer.
The deal could hinge on Real Madrid's pursuit of David Villa, with disputes over the price holding up the transfer from Valencia.
