KATARINA THOMPSON clinched the England Under-20 Combined Events crown with a championship best performance of 5,481 points at Stoke.
The 16-year-old Liverpool Harrier crushed her nearest rival Amy Marchant (Leeds City) by a massive 904 points.
Thompson set PBs in the 100m hurdles (14.65) and the long jump (6.17m), while also impressing in 200m (25.19), 800m (2:18.51), high jump (1.77m), shot put (9.88m) and javelin (32.00m).
Her points tally has qualified her for both the World Youth and European Junior championships. The heptathlete is currently second in the European rankings.
