ST HELENS will have England winger Ade Gardner back for Sunday’s trip to Bradford, where Mick Potter’s men have the chance to break the Bulls’ record for the most consecutive away wins in Super League.
Gardner, who has recovered from a shoulder injury that forced him to miss Saints’ last four matches, displaces teenager Jonny Lomax despite a man-of-the-match performance in last Friday’s 50-10 win over Castleford.
“Jonny did well last week but he’s only 18 and long term I don’t think wing will be his position,” said Potter.
Gardner has scored 134 tries in his 213 appearances for the club.
The leaders also welcome back James Roby and James Graham from England duty, leaving only prop Jason Cayless of their front-line regulars on the sidelines.
Saints will be aiming for their 16th successive away win to break Bradford’s record dating back to 1997.
