Liverpool FC community programme awarded national standard of excellence

LFC 'Respect 4 All' community scheme

Cllr Warren Bradley, Leader, said “The City Council is delighted that LFC should be recognised in such a positive way.

"The Council has been working in partnership with Liverpool Football Club and a number of local organisations and groups for over 8 years in the development of the Anfield and Breckfield.

"This has already delivered major projects such as the Stanley Park restoration project and the refurbishment of the Anfield Youth Club, attracting national and international visitors and bringing media attention to the area, but more importantly bringing immense value and greatly improved facilities to the residents of Anfield, Everton and the surrounding areas.”

“The Council by accessing European funding matched with funding from Liverpool FC has completely restored Stanley Park and the Isla Gladstone Conservatory into a fantastic green destination of which the city can be proud.”

Cllr Gary Millar said “Liverpool Football Club is a great supporter and partner of regeneration in North Liverpool and continues to be a vital partner for the future economic prospects of the area.

"Projects such as Kickz, Reducate and Action for Health help people to make vital life choices about their welfare, future aspirations and opportunities creating a brighter future for north Liverpool.”
