ADAM HAMMILL hit a fine goal, but it wasn’t enough as a Liverpool XI lost 4-3 to Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground last night.
Despite further goals from Brazilian Vitor Flora and Hungarian Andras Simon John McMahon’s side were still beaten.
Rickie Lambert and Jo Kuffour put Paul Trollope’s side 2-0 up but Hammill reduced the arrears.
Byron Anthony then made it 3-1 in the second half before Flora and Simon levelled at 3-3. Anthony, though, sealed the home side’s win with his second.
