The breakthrough finally arrived on the stroke of half-time and Babel was again the creator.

During a disjointed last half hour chances were at a premium as both sides struggled to keep possession.
Kelly enjoyed another solid display and showed his versatility in the second half after switching to right back. He got forward well to offer support in attack and almost added a third with a low shot which flew just past the post.
Benayoun forced a save from substitute Arnar Darri Petersson late on but in the closing stages the keeper was rarely troubled.
