LIVERPOOL under-18s were without a game on Saturday due to their involvement in the FA Youth Cup last night.
Rodolfo Borrell’s side were due to take on Stoke City, but as is usual when there is a Youth Cup match on a Monday, the game was called off and will have to be rescheduled at a later date.
It means in regards to the FA Premier Academy League Group C, Liverpool will have to wait to build on last week’s excellent 1-0 victory over Man United.
This weekend is an in-service weekend with no Academy League fixtures scheduled and so far Liverpool have not rescheduled one of the matches lost to the weather last month.
If they don’t manage to rearrange one of the fixtures they will return to action a week on Saturday when they travel to face Manchester City (kick-off 11am).
