Yossi Benayoun
ISRAEL midfielder Yossi Benayoun has completed his move from Liverpool FC to Chelsea.
The 30-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and he joins the Blues on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £6million.
He told the Chelsea website, www.chelseafc.com: "I am very excited to come to a club like Chelsea, it is a big club and I think it is a dream for every player. Hopefully we will be successful.“
A statement on the Liverpool club website added: "Yossi's departure was agreed between the player and rafael Benitez a number of weeks ago. Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes him well for the future."
Benayoun made 172 appearances for the Reds and scored 37 goals.
