LIVERPOOL FC have enjoyed their best two days of the summer so far with the signing of free agent Joe Cole and club captain Steven Gerrard committing his future the club, news that has delighted Reds fans on our forums.

"Hopefully, this can put an end to all the naysayers who are determined to shoot down Roy before he's even started.
