LEGENDARY Liverpool “super-sub” David Fairclough is recovering in hospital after a minor heart scare.
It is thought the 53-year-old became ill last week and is recuperating in Southport Hospital.
Liverpool FC’s official Twitter message board sent their good wishes to the striker, who lives in Formby. It said a member of staff had spoken to Fairclough yesterday and he was “keeping his chin up”.
It is believed he hopes to be allowed home this week.
