Adebayor linked on loan deal
With the expected arrival of Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko and bust-ups on the training ground, it would seem Emmanuel Adebayor will be on his way out of Manchester this January and Liverpool are among the favourites for his signature.
The Reds will most likely only be in for a loan deal as Manchester City will probably want to recoup as much of the £25 million they paid just over 18 months ago, but it is unkown whether the team over at Eastlands would accept such a deal.

Reds preparing bid for Dutch winger Eljero Elia
The Dutch World Cup star Eljero Elia is also rumoured with the red half of Merseyside this month in a deal apparently backed by the Liverpool board and chief scout Damien Comolli. The player is apparently out of favour at his current club Hamburg and hasn't made the impact the club was hoping and according to the German press a £13 million fee is already on the table.
Also, with the attacking winger being similar to current Liverpool attacker, Ryan Babel, the deal may pave the way for the young Red out of Merseyside.
