Past meetings
Liverpool and Chelsea have become sick of the sight of each other in recent years so frequently have the sides been paired together in cup competitions, in addition to their league encounters.
This meeting of course has added spice following the £50m transfer of Fernando Torres from Anfield to Stamford Bridge on Monday.
Who knows what the Spaniard will make of his new surroundings but this image posted on the AnfieldRoad.com website illustrates one of the differences he can expect to encounter at his new home.

Here are some memorable meetings from years gone by
Nov 7 2010 - Liverpool 2 Chelsea 0 (read match report here)
Liverpool produced their best performance of the season so far when they saw off champions Chelsea at Anfield back in November. Fernando Torres showed a glimpse of his former self by scoring two first-half goals that gave the Reds a grip on the game that they never looked likely to relinquish.
April 14 2009 - Chelsea 4 Liverpool 4 (read match report here)
The Reds trailed 1-3 after the first leg of this Champions League quarter-final but a stirring showing at Stamford Bridge restored pride after a brave but ultimately unsuccessful attempt to turn the tie around. Fabio Aurelio's crafty free-kick and a Xabi Alonso penalty levelled the tie on aggregate within half an hour and, despite a second-half Chelsea fightback, goals from Lucas and Dirk Kuyt left Liverpool only one goal away from qualification in the closing stages before Frank Lampard sealed Chelsea's place in the semi-finals, where they got knocked out by Barcelona.
Oct 26 2008 - Chelsea 0 Liverpool 1 (read match report here)
Chelsea had been undefeated in the League at Stamford Bridge for 86 games going back to February 2004 but Xabi Alonso's early deflected strike past Petr Cech gave the Reds the win, and a three point lead at the top of the league.
December 16, 1989: Chelsea 2 Liverpool 5

The last time Kenny Dalglish took a Liverpool side to Stamford Bridge, they put on a performance so good the Chelsea manager suggested they could be contenders for the following summer's World Cup in Italy. Admittedly the man in question Bobby Campbell was a Scouser who also played for the Reds but Dalglish's men were in sublime form as they marched on to what would become the club's 18th league title. Peter Beardsley and Ian Rush put the Reds two up in five minutes and although Gordon Durie pulled one back, Ray Houghton restored the two-goal advantage with a delightful chip with barely a quarter of the game gone. Steve McMahon followed suit, dinking home after another sweeping move early in the second half and Ian Rush headed his second and Liverpool's fifth before Kerry Dixon added a consolation just before time.
