LIVERPOOL midfielder Lucas Leiva believes striker Luis Suarez will be a major success at Anfield.
The Uruguay international made his first start for the club following his £22.8million move from Ajax in Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Wigan.
Suarez, who scored on his debut against Stoke, impressed throughout but twice he was denied by the woodwork as Kenny Dalglish's side were frustrated.
“Luis is a dangerous striker, you can see that already,” Lucas said.
“He is very powerful and works really hard to help the team.
“He wants to take the free-kicks and it was just a shame that he couldn’t score. He will score a lot of goals for Liverpool, I’m sure of that.
“He is settling well. It is not too difficult here because the group is friendly and he is feeling at home already.”
Saturday's stalemate ended sixth-placed Liverpool's run of four straight wins and dented their hopes of Champions League qualification.
