ADAM MORGAN kept up his superb scoring run with a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at the Kirkby Academy on Saturday.
It is now 16 goals in his last 11 matches for the Halewood youngster.
And his hat-trick helped Rodolfo Borrell’s side stay firmly on the trail of the Group C divisonal title in the Barclays Premier Academy League.
It was an excellent team effort, with Morgan the star of the show.
Liverpool are still eight points behind leaders Everton, but do have three games in hand and face their Mersey neighbours in two week’s time on Tuesday, April 26 at Finch Farm.
Liverpool coach Borrell said: “It was a consistent team performance.
“Adam Morgan scored three good goals but it is unfair if he takes all of the plaudits.
“Everyone worked hard throughout the game.
