MARTIN SKRTEL is convinced silverware is just around the corner now Kenny Dalglish has returned as Liverpool manager.
The Slovakian was an ever-present in the Premier League for the Anfield outfit this season and admits the replacement of Roy Hodgson with the Scotsman will prove a watershed moment in the club’s history.
Liverpool have been trophy-less since the 2006 FA Cup win and had to endure a torrid first half of this season before Dalglish took the reins and saw the side come close to Europa League qualification.
The 26-year-old believes the squad is flush with top talent who he believes can bring glory back to Anfield sooner rather than later, thanks to the Dalglish factor.

“When I look around I see a great team with great players,” said Skrtel. “I have quite mixed feelings about this season.
“Obviously we had two different terms. The beginning of the season was not good but this has changed with the arrival of Kenny Dalglish.
“This was a turning point of our season and we really improved under his guidance. This gives me a lot of hope ahead of new season.
