Liverpool FC linked to Sochaux’s Algerian striker Ryad Boudebouz as Pepe Reina reaffirms Red future

Ryad Boudebouz

SOCHAUX forward Ryad Boudebouz claims Liverpool want to bring him to Anfield – as Pepe Reina reiterates his commitment to the club.

The 21-year-old Algerian reckons Liverpool have made an approach and he is ready to consider any offer put on the table.

Although Boudebouz says leaving French club Sochaux would be hard, serious interest from Kenny Dalglish’s men could persuade him to make the move to England but he insists he will not rush the decision.

“The Liverpool interest is solid,” Algeria international Boudebouz is reported to have said.

“There has been contact but we have to take our time, meet the chairman and remain calm.

“I want to sit down and discuss things when we return for pre-season training.

“But if there is an important offer, we will not be able to turn it down.

“I don’t wish to leave Sochaux but if there is an offer on the table, I will have to think about it.”
