Liverpool FC boss Kenny Dalglish hopes his side can maintain strong away form at Aston Villa this weekend

KENNY DALGLISH believes Liverpool can continue their impressive away form against Aston Villa this weekend, and says his side will persist with their attacking approach to games.

The Anfield outfit lost their last Premier League away fixture in unfortunate circumstances at Fulham, but have won four times on the road already this season.

And having lost just once in 13 games in all competitions, it is with confidence that Dalglish will take his side to Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

“Our away form has been really impressive,” Dalglish said.

“We got beaten the last time away from home but the performance was good enough to have won it. We’ll just keep going like we have done before.”

Liverpool have managed just 18 goals from their 15 league games this season – less than both of the Premier League’s bottom clubs, Blackburn and Bolton.

Dalglish, however, insists his side will not change their approach to games, and believes it is only a matter of time before they rediscover their scoring touch.

“I think the only stat that isn’t in our favour is probably in the goals-for column,” he said.

“We’ve got fewer points than the performances deserve, but we’ve got that in our own hands.
