JAMIE CARRAGHER is convinced FA Cup final places remain up for grabs ahead of Liverpool FC’s Wembley showdown with Chelsea.
Kenny Dalglish’s side have two games before they aim to secure a domestic cup double against the Champions League finalists on Saturday week.
They visit Norwich City at the weekend before welcoming Fulham on Tuesday evening.
Four days before the FA Cup semi-final win over Everton, a much-changed Liverpool’s dramatic triumph at Blackburn Rovers saw Andy Carroll, Daniel Agger and Jay Spearing secure their derby roles.
And Carragher, one of several players not certain of starting role in the Cup final, believes there will be similar opportunities ahead of the Chelsea encounter.
“It’s all to play for in terms of cup final places,” he said. “But we’re going into these games to get three points because we need to move up the table.
“Of course, if you perform well in these games, you have a greater chance of playing in the final.”
