TWO excellent strikes from Garrity and Taylor in the first quarter of each half proved enough for Vauxhall to open the new Blue Square North campaign with victory.
The visitors began the better but after 13 minutes Garrity lifted a left-foot shot into the top corner.
Then nine minutes into the second half Taylor produced a wonder goal after slipping his marker.
The Motormen are back in action again tonight, when they travel to Hyde United looking to build upon their start.
