MARINE look to maintain their climb up the UniBond League Premier Division table against Ossett Town at College Road today.
After losing their opening two games, Alvin McDonald’s men have taken four points from the last two, including Monday’s 1-0 triumph over Prescot Cables.
McDonald said: “I think we will be well satisfied if we can beat Ossett and take seven points out of nine this week. We will have done a good week’s work.”
On-loan Robbie Talbot hopes to return to action after a hamstring injury, but striker Nicky Young is out.
Andy Gray’s Prescot aim to get back on track at home to Matlock Town, with striker Dean Thurston set to join the action.
Morale has been boosted at Vauxhall Motors after Monday’s goalless draw at Burscough.
The Motormen take on Alfreton Town and manager Macauley, who has an injury-free squad, said: “The performance against Burscough has made a massive difference and now we have got to build on that.”
Burscough’s injury problems have eased as they travel to Solihull Moors, with Dominic Morley and Ryan Bowen returning.
Manager Liam Watson said: “You have got to expect to beat teams like Solihull, and we must keep the run going.”
In the Vodkat League First Division, Formby are at home to Nelson, while Runcorn Linnets travel to Squires Gate.
