A TOPSY-TURVY week in the Premier Division saw Porters Pharmacy lead through a James Anderson strike before BRNESC ran out 3-1 winners thanks to Danny Dillon and a double strike from Dave Whitney.
Nicosia had a couple of own goals from Bagnall & Morris helping them to a 6-2 win, Stuart Phillips, Danny Webster and two from Ross Kennedy adding to B&Ms dismay.
JOB had a fine win with Thorpe and Murphy on target as they beat Falcon 2-0 and Obiter Fabs4, had Wienke and a Mark Styles (2) on target at Belfry who hit back through Blackwood, Brady and a Robbie Bell hat-trick for a fine 5-3 win.
In Division One, Athletic Clubmoor had goal machine Rob Armstrong (2) and Jimmy Burke on target as they just proved to be too strong for a spirited Priory Villa, who pushed hard but came up short and replied through Paul Pritchard and a 25-yard free-kick bullet from Graham Hill.
Alder, with Willis, Ginley (2) and Anderson all hitting the net, were too strong for Turnpike Tavern running out easy 4-0 winners.
In Division Two, St Mark’s take pride of place this week with a comprehensive demolition of unbeaten Mossley Hill.
Leading 3-0 at half-time and Mossley Hill fighting back with strikes from Murphy Evans and Powell they went on to finish victors with Kev Colfar (3), Kev Hoskinson (2), Long and Whyte chipping in for well earned 7-3 win.
King Harry had Rossitter and Gaskill on target but English Rose struck back to win 3-2 as Dunny’s, Sean Garcia squandered a lead to go down to a Darrel Adams brace as St Teresa’s won 2-1.
