UNITED posted a handsome UniBoond First Division win and also kept their 12th clean sheet in all competitions.
Georgie Donnelly got the ball rolling in the 16th minute as he slotted home Aaron Turner’s through ball.
Then Tony Evans embarked on his fourth hat-trick of the season to take him to the top of the goalscoring charts.
His first goal came in the 23rd minute as he curled the ball into the roof of the net.
Then he headed home Michael Duffy’s 36th-minute cross for his second.
Donnelly scored his second on 60 minutes, chesting down before slotting home from an acute angle.
And with the race on to win the match ball it was Evans who got there first with a great shot just inside the box.
Chorley’s only effort came in the 80th minute when Joel Pilkington headed a near post cross on target but Ryan McMahon saved well.
SKEM: McMahon, Duffy ( Foster 65) Hardwick, Akrigg, White, Holland, Birchall (Cass 65) Turner, Evans, Donnelly, Leadbetter (Crompton 65).
