IN the Premier Division Hoylake Athletic’s Paul Rowlands smashed a hat-trick against Bidston Hotel (Ryan Atherton) to secure a fine victory.
Elias Black and Ben Pollard helped secure all three points, taking them to third place in the table.
Dock FC continued their goalscoring form as Darren McGuinness (2), Gary Reay (2) and an own goal ensured a 5-0 victory over Houlihans Variety Club.
In Division One, leaders Neston Nomads (Dave Forbes) slipped up, letting Heygarth’s Clint Evans – a goalscorer for the past four weeks in succession – and Darren Robinson net for all three points and the top spot.
George & Dragon had Jordan Standon and Matty Woods (2) on target but it wasn’t enough as they were forced to share the points with Rock Ferry Social (Jamie Kenyon, Richie Owens, Mark Redmond) in a 3-3 thriller.
Division Two action produced a goal feast from Irby Club, with four goals from Lee Jones, a Paul Devey hat-trick and singles from Nick Munn and Peter Cavanagh in a 9-3 romp against Ultraseal.
St Josephs were elated with their first three points when they beat Harp with Brian Cullen (2), Anthony Miles and Michael Quinn all finding their shooting boots.
In Division Three Shillings Bar’s Neil Bennett netted with the last kick of the match to hand them victory.
In Division Four Ste Brennan was yet again on the scoresheet for Hamiltons, but it wasn’t enough as Automatic Door Company responded with goals from Chris Boult, Dean Johnson, and Craig Davies, sealing a 3-1 win.
