WARRINGTON TOWN entertained top of the table Retford in appalling conditions at Cantilever Park, to earn a well-deserved UniBond League First Division South point.
Warrington didn’t get the luck in front of goal and the best chance fell to Francis Smith on the half hour, but his shot was kicked off the line.
The weather made it difficult for both teams as they started the second half. Retford were pressing for a goal and Warrington were breaking forward at every chance they got.
Substitute Conner Taylor thought he had earned a win but his shot went inches past the post in the 80th minute.
