Super Skem smash four

SKELMERSDALE UNITED’S UniBond First Division South win over Bamber Bridge means they stay unbeaten in 12 games.

The opening goal came in the ninth minute when George Donnelly slotted home Phil Holland’s pass.

Then Ryan McMahon’s quick throw led to Holland unleashing a magnificent low drive for the second.

Controversially Skem keeper McMahon was sent off on 22 minutes for bringing David Eaton down in the box but replacement Aaron Turner saved Alex Porter’s spot kick.

Sean McConville set up Donnelly for his second before Bridge had two players sent off.

And Kevin Leadbetter added from the penalty spot late on to keep Skem in third.
