Radcliffe Borough progressed to quarter-finals

RADCLIFFE Borough progressed to the quarter-finals of the Presidents Cup in a pulsating match at the Ashley Travel Stadium.
United had most of the possession with Boro happy to sit back and catch them on the counter.
Radcliffe took the lead in the 38th minute as Neil Chappell curled a 20-yarder into the top right hand corner.
Radcliffe doubled their lead in the 60th minute courtesy of Chappell again as he slotted home from close range.
Tony Evans replied two minutes later when latching on to Adam Birchall’s through ball and his initial shot was blocked by the keeper.
