BURSCOUGH look to maintain their new year revival when they travel to Hinckley United in Blue Square North today.

Liam Watson’s men have started 2008 brightly, holding Southport to a 1-1 draw then beating Barrow 2-1 last Saturday.

“Considering all our injury problems, you have got to be happy with what the lads have achieved in our first season at this level,” manager Watson said of his ninth-placed side.

The Linnets’ selection problems continue today, with midfielders Chris Price and Alan Moogan and striker Alan Smart all suspended, and Earl Davis and Robbie Booth still out injured
