ACE marksman Ciaran Kilheeney gave Burscough victory in this Blue Square North battle of the roses with a goal that came at the last gasp.
Kilheeney shot home to break the Wetherby Road deadlock three minutes into added time.
In the 51st minute Burscough keeper Tony McMillan was called into action, as home defender Jamie Price latched onto a loose ball and fired a rocket of a shot from 25 yards that was destined for the top corner. McMillan did well to save above his head.
But Harrogate were being limited to shots from distance and Burscough were producing the better quality chances.
In the 83rd minute Noone was put away by Kilheeney but shot wide of the mark after being challenged by Denny Ingham.
The Burscough winner came from a Matt McGinn long throw. He hoisted the ball onto Allan Smart’s head and it dropped to Kilheeney at the far side of the box. Given just a yard of space, he dispatched the ball into the bottom corner.
