NORTHWICH Victoria’s Setanta Shield fifth round visit to York has been put back to tomorrow to give York an extra day to recover after Sunday’s FA Trophy third round 2-0 win at Farsley Celtic.
Meanwhile centre-half Gary Strong, one of a group of transfer-listed players last week released by manager Dino Maamria, has joined relegation rivals Droylsden, but the other listed player Michael Carr remains with Northwich, although he did not figure in the 16 named for Saturday’s trip to Kidderminster.
