A 48th-minute goal by Nathan Pond won this UnBond Premier League clash at the Arriva Stadium.
The game effectively ended as a contest on 33 minutes when Marine’s Peter Cumiskey (violent conduct) and Paul Woolcott (abusive language) were both dismissed after the same incident.
Fleetwood won the game on 48 minutes when a long cross to the back post was met by Pond, who powerfully headed the ball past Marine keeper Andy Ralph.
