VICS collected three priceless points at the Butchers Arms in their fight to avoid relegation from the Blue Square Premiership on a night when rivals Farsley, Stafford and Weymouth all lost and Altrincham drew.
Droylsden were lively in the first half and led at the break with a penalty scored by Steve Daley after 12 minutes.
In-form Northwich striker Lee Steele made it 1-1 in 57 minutes and midfielder Joel Byrom gave his side the lead seven minutes later.
Bottom club Droylsden fell apart after Daley was sent off and Steele went on to clinch Vics’ third away win five minutes later with his eighth goal of the season.
