NORTHWICH produced another impressive result with a 1-1 draw at York in their bid to avoid relegation from the Blue Square Premier League.

They are now unbeaten in seven games which have brought them 17 points.

Pushing for a place in the play-offs, York took the lead in the 11th minute when their leading marksman Steven Brodie snapped up a close-range opportunity.

The equaliser came from midfielder Michael Byrne after 74 minutes then the Welsh under-23s international went on to miss a golden opportunity of snatching the winning goal in the final seconds.
