HALTON ARMS stayed on track for the Premier Division title by defeating Vulcan 6-2.

Lee Mitchell and Alan Bond shared the goals, the former hitting four of them.

Despite a Gary Fox goal for Monks Sports, his side lost out to Cheshire Hawthorne, who had goals from Robbie Hope and Rob Hanley.

Ex-Serviceman’s Jim McKay scored both goals in his side’s goals in their 2-0 victory over Howley FC after his wife had given birth at 6am.
