Football legends join Sky stars in live debate

MERSEYSIDE football fans are never short of an opinion or two so the arrival of Sky TV’s Soccer Saturday team for a live debate in Liverpool should be an event not to be missed.
Taking place at the Crowne Plaza on December 4, the debate will raise money for the Lord Mayor of Liverpool’s chosen charities.
Sponsored by Liverpool-based stockbrokers and investment managers, Blankstone Sington the debate will feature some of football’s best-known former players.
Jeff Stelling, Charlie Nicholas, Paul Merson plus Everton and Liverpool legends Graeme Sharp and Phil Thompson will take part with audience members including the Lord Mayor, football pundit Alan Hansen and a host of other footballing stars.
A charitable auction also has a range of sporting memorabilia up for grabs.
All proceeds raised will be donated to a number of local charities including the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal, The Marina Dalglish Appeal, Alzheimer’s Society and the Mersey Beat Appeal.
