ALL three Wallasey teams went through to the last eight of the Wirral FA Amateur Cup as Rose & Crown’s Berry and a 30-yard winner from Lee Dermody in the final minutes secured a great fight back.
Lions FC roared into the next round with a 3-2 success over JEL Electrical. A solitary John Pringle goal was enough for Liscard Bronze to put the boot in to Wellington and see them through.
Dutchman Cup second round action saw only three games played but they produced 27 goals as Irby FC top scored with nine as they felled the Royal Oak 9-1.
A hat-trick from Richard Aspey and a double from Jason Wilde earned Townfield a 5-3 success over Upton FC.
Division Two side Mackenzies took Windsor to extra-time but despite goals from Paul Wallace, George Brookes, Steve Lightfoot and Martin Dunn, they lost 5-4.
In the Youth Division Cup first round, Saints lorded it over Neston Youth when winning 6-3. Cetco Europe eased past Irby Youth (Dave McGinty) 3-1.
The only Youth Division fixture ended with NestonNomads increasing their lead at the top to six points as they beat Shaftsbury Youth 6-0.
Poulton Royal closed the gap in the Premier Division when steaming past Egremont Ferry 7-0.
The Primrose flour-ished in their Magee Cup second round game against Cheshire Cheese, winning 3-1. Big House and Oyster Catcher both went out of their respective Cup competitions, as did Chester Nomads in the Cheshire Youth Cup when losing 3-2 against Ashville.
