TRANMERE are hopeful that tomorrow’s League One home game against Leyton Orient will go ahead in spite of the cold weather.
Frost covers have been on the Prenton Park pitch all week, protecting the playing surface from snow and temperatures down to minus four degrees.
Meanwhile, Rovers have agreed a new date for the visit to Cheltenham Town, which now goes ahead on Tuesday, March 17.
The original fixture, on Tuesday of this week, was postponed because the Whaddon Road pitch was frozen.
