The Brow and Bidston Hotel battle out a 1-1 draw in fine evening encounter

THIS week saw the first round of night matches.

Rock Ferry continued their great start with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Hoylake.

Queens Park finally found their touch as they dispatched a youthful Neston Nomads with an comfortable 8-1 victory. The Dock secured all three points in their home game against Heswall Windows, 3-2 the final score.

Division One saw AFC Mississippi’s game with Saddle Club get abandoned after just 20 minutes following a suspected broken leg to a Saddle player.

Houlihans had a variety of a performance at home to the Argyll before edging the match 3-2.

Beehive produced the performance of midweek in Division Two, as they put 12 past Rangers Breaks without reply. AFC Houlihans found their form thrashing Wavertree 5-1.

Shore Villa gave a high five to Heswall Legion, with John-Paul Wheedon netting two in a 5-0 win while Kings Arms beat Bebington Legion 1-0.
