NESTON YOUTH ended the unbeaten run of Second Division Grange FC in the second round of the Capitol Cup as they won 3-2 thanks to efforts from Mark Littler, Dan Hayes and Dean Jones. Chris Reid and Kieran Fleetwood claimed the responses.

The only Youth Division fixture saw Chester Nomads take the spoils from Shaftesbury Youth win a 4-3 win as Dave Hodgson, Jack Top, Matty Armstrong and Andy Smith got amongst the goals, and the overdue National Cup game between Poulton Royal and JOB FC will hopefully take place at West Kirby FC on Sunday with an 11.30am kick-off.
