Marine face Bradford Park Avenue in UniBond Premier Division
MARINE face a side occupying a play-off place for the second time in the space of a week when they travel to Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow.
Following on from last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to UniBond Premier Division leaders Retford United, the Mariners face third-placed Bradford.
Mariners manager Kevin Lynch gave debuts in the loss to new strike-force Thomas Moore and Lee McEvilly as well as midfielder Jonathan Goulding.
Moore and Goulding’s former club Burscough are without a game this weekend – they beat Kendal Town 3-0 last Saturday.
Meanwhile, in the UniBond First Division North, Skelmersdale United will look to make it five games unbeaten when they host Chorley at the Skem & Ormskirk College Stadium.
Also in the First Division North, seventh-placed Prescot Cables welcome Wakefield to Valerie Park looking to close the gap on the promotion chasers above them.
In the First Division South, Cammell Laird travel to league leaders Chasetown hoping to cause an upset.
Bootle, who shared a goalless draw at Ashton Athletic in midweek, host Alsager Town in a Vodkat League Premier Division encounter.
Runcorn Linnets will look to shake off the disappointment of Tuesday’s night’s 7-1 Cheshire Senior Cup semi-final loss to Northwich Victoria when they welcome bottom club Abbey Hey to Wincham Park.
