Vauxhall Motors face Redditch United in Blue Square North

VAUXHALL MOTORS bid for Blue Square North survival continues tomorrow against Redditch United (kick-off 3pm).

Bottom of the division, the Motormen are four points from safety after their midweek draw with Workington. Carl Macauley’s men were denied a vital three points with Anthony Wright’s injury-time equaliser after Josh Wilson had given them a half-time lead.

Saturday’s visitors to Rivacre Park are 17th, nine points ahead of Vauxhall so victory for Macauley’s men could help drag another side into the relegation scrap.

Vauxhall follow up the home game with a trip to AFC Telford United on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.45pm at the New Bucks’ Head.

Title-chasing Southport make the trip to mid-table Stafford Rangers tomorrow (3pm).

Port made only their second outing of 2010 last Saturday with a 3-0 win over AFC Telford United and then followed it up with a 4-2 extra-time triumph over Barrow on Tuesday night.

The Sandgrounders still trail leaders Fleetwood Town by three points but have two games in hand.

Manager Liam Watson says other than the suspended Alan Moogan, Port have a fully-fit squad from which to choose from ahead of the game at the Marston Road ground. Stafford enter the match on the back of a three game winning streak. They beat struggling Harrogate Town 1-0 last weekend.
