Dave Timmins appointed Tranmere Rovers goalkeeping coach

Dave Timmins joined Tranmere Rovers today as the club’s new goalkeeper coach. The experienced Timmins arriveed at Prenton Park from Shrewsbury Town where he has spent much of his coaching career.

He has also worked at Carlisle United, Preston North End and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

While at Shrewsbury Timmins played a key role in the coaching of Joe Hart who went on to join Manchester City and was a member of the England squad at the 2010 World Cup.

Manager Les Parry said: “Dave is a highly qualified, experienced goalkeeper coach who will help our players improve.

“I’m pleased he has agreed to join us and he will become an important member of the coaching staff."
