Croxteth hit seven goals to lead Liverpool County FA’s Division One table

IN THE second full week of games for the whole league there were no real shocks but plenty of goals on offer.

In Division One, Croxteth are now the pacesetters with three wins out of three. A 7-0 thrashing of Kingsley United at home was their latest success, Bobby Ryan hitting a brace.

They eventually had to settle for a 2-2 draw in a highly-entertaining game, John Hagadorn with both the Cheshire Lines goals. In the second-half the Dock applied all the pressure and it told as they scored a superb reply through a John Poland free-kick and equalised via Anthony Battle.

The game then got stretched and both sides wasted chances aplenty to take maximum points.
