St Sebastians humble King Harry

IN THE Premier Division St Sebastians won 4-2 at the King Harry while Alder earned a 1-0 win at Obiter.

JOB led Fazakerley at half-time 2-0 but the champions hit back for a 3-2 win.

Larkspur are in fine form at present and goal machine John Driscoll kept up his scoring form with both goals in the 2-1 win over English Rose. Thirly were 5-1 winners at Liverpool North and Home & Bargain went down 5-2 to Nethy Wood Lane Legion, for whom Tom Kato scored a hat-trick.

In Division One BRNESC and Melbourne H & B finished 2-2 and Everton Red Triangle collected their first points in a 2-1 win at Regent. Nicosia found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline against Sefton Earls while Westbury beat St Teresa’s 2-1.

Mossley Hill and Gears Utd had a seven- goal thriller decided by a Fran Evans double which gave Mossley Hill a 4-3 win.

In Division Two Woodstreet won 1-0 against Silcocks and BRNESC Youth were 3-0 winners at Quarry Green.

In a game of missed penalties, LWV Printworks and Mags turned in a thriller, decided when Mags’s Jordan Neild nicked the winner late on for a 3-2 win.

Linton Paramount beat Athletic Clubmoor Athletic 6-1 and the Breze Hotel had a good 4-2 win against Greystone. The Twelfth Man edged past Halewood Town 4-3.

Pumptech, thanks to a Jay Lyons hat-trick, beat Townsies 7-0 and The Masons beat Crosskeys 2-0. Aki’s Bar and Marsh finished scoreless and The Pear Tree were 2-2 with Star of the Sea. Huyton Ath broke their duck with a 4-2 win over Overton, HJC Stadium had Alan Chadwick getting a hat trick in a 7-2 win over Walton Hall Park and Fran Patterson was also a hat-trick man for A C Croxteth in their 7-0 win over Gateacre Institute.
