BROW FC progressed to the last eight of the Wirral Premier Cup with two goals from Jack Ford and singles from John Harrison and Daniel Parnell as they battled back from two down to win 4-3 against Big House.
Kieran Delaney hit a hat-trick for Wellington (Ally Major, Joe Robbo) as they knocked Upton Villa out 5-4 and James Atherton scored the only goal as Queens Park defeated Neston.
Adam Lea hit four for Shore Villa (Leigh Carter, Carl Clampitt) in a 6-2 result at Wirral Sportsmans Arms and Stirrup Sports & Social (Paul Devey (2), Mike Devey, Michael Carroll) beat Saddle Club 4-0. Rock Ferry Social (Atkinson 2, K Jones) went out 7-3 at Poulton Royal.
Birkenhead Youth B are into the last eight of the Wirral Amateur Cup, after an Aaron Dillon hat-trick and efforts from Tom Povall and Karlin Fleckner, gave them a 5-3 victory at Higher Bebington. Ellesmere Port Town, Farmers Arms Moreton, FC Ridger and PSV Bushell all failed to progress.
Premier Division action saw Paul Howell, Shaun Holmes and Gary Reay all register, as Dock beat Heygarth (Mark Price) 3-1. An own goal and a Nathan Jones effort were enough for Bidston Hotel as they defeated New Ferry Wirral Hotel (Mikey Barry) 2-1. Lions FC won 5-1 at FC Fender (Glen Comber) in Division One, with goals from Alex Wood (2), Danny Morgan, Mark Jamieson and Steve Dutton. Andy Bolton and Dave McElroy scored, as Prenton Dell beat Euro Wirral 2-0.
Churchwood maintained their promotion push in Division Two with doubles from Keith Lewis and Jamie Duggan plus Graham Reid and Josh Hughes also on target to give them a 6-0 win at Rangers Breaks. Bebington FC (Kevin Kearney, Kyle Pritchard, Stephen Nenna) shared six goals with AFC Houlihans (Jack Withy 2, James Magner).
