MARINE showed some marvellous late spirit to earn a dramatic 2-1 Evo-Stik League Premier Division win against Frickley Athletic at the Arriva Stadium.
Ryan Mallon struck in the 83rd minute for Frickley, but Thomas Moore levelled three minutes later with a fine 25-yard shot.
And in the final minute, Neil Harvey netted the match-winner for Kevin Lynch’s team.
Meanwhile, Chester FC maintained their push for promotion with a 4-0 home win over Matlock Town.
Matty McNeil netted twice with the other goals coming from Luke Holden and Michael Wilde.
At the other end of the table, Burscough collected a point from their visit to Mickleover Sports.
Karl Gornell’s goal on 27 minutes gave the Linnets the lead, but Karl Ashton’s strike six minutes later ensured the spoils were shared.
