Fran Berry hat-trick has St Sebastian’s in seventh heaven against Liverpool North in the Liverpool Business Houses League

FRAN BERRY’S hat-trick set up St Sebastian’s for a fine 7-2 win at Liverpool North in the Liverpool Business Houses League Premier Division.

In the battle between leaders Larkspur and last year’s champions Fazakerley things finished all square 1-1 with Ryan Baker and Joey Jones on target in a tense hard-fought match which keeps Larkspur in top spot.

Lou Potter, Wes Tagoe and Tom Kato got the goals as Netherley Wood Lane Legion beat Obiter 3-0 and Alder went nap with goals from Chris Noon (2), Scott Aitcheson, Paul O’Hare and Timmy Naylor to beat English Rose, Steve Wynne 5-1.

Thirly continued their bad spell, going down again this time at The King Harry who had Hampson, Evans and Woods on target for a 3-2 win.

Craig Kelly (3) and David Brown netted for Sefton Earls as they beat Everton Red Triangle, Ste Burrows 4-1 in Division One.

Regent had a fine 6-2 victory over Gears United with Andy McCoy (3), Mitchell, Wilton and Ellis on the mark.

Nicosia had Paul Lamb, Chris Hughes and Mike Grogan netting to beat Rice Lane (Josh Miller) 3-1 and Mossley Hill ran out 3-1 winners against Westbury.

In Division Two a four-timer from Stu Whittaker gave LWV Printworks the impetus for a 7-1 win over Greystone.
