Mark Lawrenson: The Premier League title race is over – Manchester City will win against QPR

THE title race is over. No matter what Manchester United do next Sunday, neighbours City will beat Queens Park Rangers.

The Londoners might be fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premier League table, but away from home they have been awful.

Just look at their 6-1 defeat at Chelsea the other week. They were all over the place.

QPR only need a point to stay up but if they go to City and camp, they are going to get hammered. The best way to get a draw is by trying to get a win, and posing an attacking threat.

They won’t, which means it will all come down to Bolton’s game at Stoke. Wigan were in the same position last season and won, but Bolton’s form isn’t good enough for me to think they can repeat that.

I can see Owen Coyle’s side having a miserable end to a long, difficult season.
